What happens if I forgot or changed my username/password for a linked external account?

If you’ve forgotten your username or password, you can use that financial institution’s login assistance for help. You may be able to retrieve them.

If that doesn’t work and you need to change your login credentials, continue through their login assistance tool. Please note, this process breaks the link we have to your external account.

To re-establish the link, return to the U.S. Bank Mobile App or online banking and sign into your external account again.
