How do I get a payoff on my mortgage loan?

You can easily view your payoff for your mortgage account; here's how:

Online banking steps:

For the best online experience, we recommend logging in at usbank.com.

  1. Select your mortgage account from your dashboard, then select Request payoff quote
  2. Choose the day you'd like the payoff through, then select Request payoff quote. The payoff quote is valid only through the date selected.
  3. Choose how you’d like to receive the quote. Options are found below the payoff details.
    • Text, email, or download: The quote can be sent by text, emailed to one or two email addresses or it can be downloaded as a PDF file. This gives you the flexibility to print it, send it to another number or address, and save it for your records.
    • Mail or fax: We can send you a paper version of the payoff quote. Just let us know where to send it. Estimated mail delivery is five to seven days and it's sent to the mailing address on file. To ensure your fax request gets to you, please check your fax machine to see if it's on, has paper and ink, and is connected to the land line or applicable network. In the event the first fax attempt is unsuccessful, we’ll make two additional attempts to send your quote.
Some accounts may not be available through digital banking due to restrictions. If your payoff can't be generated, please contact us at 800-365-7772. We're available Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. CT and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. CT. We accept relay calls.

Additional information:

  • Instructions to submit payment using wire transfer or check are included in the letter.
  • The payoff quote includes all calculated interest up to the date selected.
  • If you'd like to fax a payoff request to us, send it to 800-200-8722. Please include your name, account number, address, and the return fax number for us to reply to.

The option to generate a payoff on your mortgage is only available on the full usbank.com website. This option is not available on mobile banking, but will be coming soon.
