How do I change where my alerts are sent?

If you’d like to change the email address or phone number your alerts are sent to, you’ll need to update your profile first. See How do I change my address, phone number, or email address?

Updating your profile doesn’t update where your account alerts are sent. Follow the steps below to change where your alerts are sent to.

Online banking

  1. Choose Customer service from the top of the page, then select My alerts.
  2. Select Account activity from the “Notifications” menu on the left.
  3. Choose All settings, then select the specific alert(s) you’d like to change.
  4. Select the chevron (>) to the left of the alert name to expand the details.
  5. Use the toggle buttons to turn on or off the alert for your email or phone number.
  6. You’ll need to repeat these steps for each account. Select a different account from the drop down in the top right corner.

U.S. Bank Mobile App

  1. From the main menu choose Notifications, then select Account activity.
  2. Select the type of notification you want to change.
  3. Locate the alert to change, then select the chevron (>) to expand the details.
  4. Use the toggle buttons to turn on or off the alert for your email or phone number.
  5. You’ll need to repeat these steps for each account. Select a different account from the drop down in the top of the screen.
