How do I change where my alerts are sent?

Before updating where your alerts are sent to, you'll need to add the email address or phone number to your profile. See How do I change my address, phone number, or email address?

Making changes to your profile doesn't update where your account alerts are sent. 

How to change where your alerts are sent in online banking

  1. Choose an account from your dashboard then select the Account services tab.  
  2. From under Alerts & notifications select Account alerts.
  3. Select the account to update from the drop down in the upper right corner.
  4. Choose All settings, then select the specific alert(s) you'd like to change.
  5. Select the chevron (>) to the left of the alert name to expand the details.
  6. Use the toggle buttons to turn on or off the alert for your email or phone number.
  7. You'll need to repeat these steps for each account. Select a different account from the drop down in the top right corner.

How to change where your alerts are sent in the U.S. Bank Mobile App

  1. From the main menu choose Notifications, then select Account activity.
  2. Select the type of notification you want to change.
  3. Locate the alert to change, then select the chevron (>) to expand the details.
  4. Use the toggle buttons to turn on or off the alert for your email or phone number.
  5. You'll need to repeat these steps for each account. Select a different account from the drop down in the top of the screen.
