Having the ability to lock or unlock your card gives you more control over the protection of your account.
- You can lock or unlock your card using online banking or the U.S. Bank Mobile App anytime.
- It's a great feature to use if the card is misplaced. It gives you time to look, while having the reassurance your card is safe from potential fraud or misuse. When you find it, you can easily unlock it and start using it again.

To lock or unlock your card using online banking and the U.S. Bank Mobile App
- Select your credit card and choose Account at the top of the page.
- Select Details & controls, then choose Lock or unlock card.
- Online banking: “Details & controls” can be found on the right side of the page within the Card info tile.
- U.S. Bank Mobile App: “Details & controls” can be found by scrolling to the Manage card tile.
- Select Lock card or Unlock card to change the status.
