How do I open or send a secure email from U.S. Bank?

From time to time, there may be a need to send/receive sensitive information via email. To get started, follow these steps:

Existing users

  1. Open the attachment in the secure email. A Registered Envelope will appear in a new browser. 
  2. Enter your password and select Open to retrieve your secured email. 
  3. Reply to the sender to respond securely.

New users

  1. Open the attachment in the secure email and a Registered Envelope will appear in a new browser. 
  2. Return to the email and follow the instructions provided to create your email account.
  3. Once all the required information is completed, select Register.
  4. Return to the Registered Envelope and follow the steps above.
