How do I enable or disable my biometrics when I log in?
Biometrics are your identifying traits that are used for automated services, like logging in. They’re also known as Touch/Face ID (iOS) or fingerprint/face scan (Android).
Enabling your biometrics lets you log into the U.S. Bank Mobile App in one easy and secure step. It’s the strongest authentication method we offer.
To enable your biometrics using the U.S. Bank Mobile App
- Open the main menu (three horizonal lines in the upper left corner).
- Select your name within the Profile & Settings section.
- Choose Login preferences.
- Toggle on or off, Enable Face ID (iPhone) or Enable your biometrics (Android).
The option to enable or disable your biometrics is only available on the U.S. Bank Mobile App. This option is not available on our full website usbank.com.
