How do I cancel a request for funds with Zelle®?

We can help you cancel a request for funds with Zelle®. 

Online banking steps:

To get started, just log in to online banking and follow these steps.

  1. Log in and select Send Money with Zelle® under the Send Money tab.
  2. Choose Transactions Timeline link in the Actions field.
  3. Select the Requested tab in the Transactions field. (Any requested payments will display here.)
  4. Choose the Recipient name and select the Cancel Request link. (Cancel Request box will display)
  5. Check the box of the request you would like to cancel and press Cancel Request. (Confirm box will display)
  6. Select Yes to confirm. (Confirmation box will display) Press OK.

U.S. Bank Mobile App steps:

For the best mobile banking experience, we recommend logging in or downloading the U.S. Bank Mobile App.

  1. Tap the Zelle® icon located at the bottom of the home dashboard. 
  2. Select Activity. Here you’ll see a list of your requests. 
  3. Tap the request you want to cancel, then choose Cancel payment, and Confirm. That’s it!
