How to sync my bill pay for business to my accounting software.

With Pro plan, connect your accounting software to sync your bills, invoices, contacts and payments. We currently support QuickBooks Online and have plans to support others soon. See also, What are the different plans available with bill pay for business?

To connect or reconnect your accounting software from digital banking 

  1. Select Transfer & pay and then choose Pay bills for your business. 
  2. Online banking users: Select Settings and then Sync and import. 
    U.S. Bank Mobile App users: From the Pay bills menu select Settings and then Sync and import. 
  3. From the QuickBooks Online section choose Connect or Reconnect. 
  4. A popup will appear. Choose Continue to connect and sign in to your QuickBooks Online. 
  5. Select the company to connect with. 
  6. Approve the connection with Fiserv (our bill pay vendor) by selecting connect 
  7. We’ll now automatically sync your business bill pay with your QuickBooks. 

To manually sync your account software in digital banking 

  1. Select Transfer & pay and then select Pay bills for your business. 
  2. Choose the Sync accounting software button (two arrows in a circle) with the green QuickBooks’s logo. 
    • If there isn’t a green logo, use the reconnect steps above.  
  3. Once complete, a green banner will display at the top of your screen with the time and date of the most recent sync.  

To disconnect your accounting software from digital banking 

  1. Select Transfer & pay and then choose Pay bills for your business. 
  2. Online banking users: Select Settings and then Sync and import. 
    U.S. Bank Mobile App users: From the Pay bills menu select Settings and then Sync and import. 
  3. From the QuickBooks Online section choose Disconnect. 
  4. Confirm you’d like to remove the connection.
