How do I update my consent to contact preferences?

For control in how we contact you regarding fraud and other non-marketing communications, just follow these steps.

Online banking steps:

To get started, log into online banking and follow these steps:

  1. Select Customer Service from the top menu, then My profile  from the drop-down. 
  2. Complete the additional authentication that is requested. 
  3. Under Consent to contact preferences on the My profile page select View/Edit Consent Details.
  4. You will be prompted to opt-out of calls or messages based on your account number and phone number.

    Note: If you'd like to opt back in you'll need to contact the department that supports that specific account. 
  5. Select Save changes to save your preferences.  

U.S. Bank Mobile App steps:

For the best mobile banking experience, we recommend logging in or downloading the U.S. Bank mobile app.

  1. From the menu at the top left, select the gear icon to the right of your name to open the my profile page.
  2. From My profile select Phone numbers and complete the requested additional authentication. 
  3. Select Phone numbers to expand the phone numbers menu and locate the Consent to contact section.
  4. Select View/Edit consent details  to display your consent options.
  5. You will be prompted to opt-out of calls or messages based on your account number and phone number.

    Note: If you'd like to opt back in you'll need to contact the department that supports that specific account. 

  6. Select Save Changes to save your preferences.
