What are passkeys and what do you need to know about them?
- A passkey is a digital credential that lets you log in quickly and securely to your online banking.
- There's no need to enter your username or password when using a passkey.
- You log into your account in the same way you unlock your device – with your face, fingerprint, device PIN or device passcode.
- Passkeys are stored in your password manager, making it easy to sync your passkey across your devices.

How to create or delete a passkey using online banking
Note: Avoid creating a passkey on a device that’s shared with others.
- Login with the device you'd like to create the passkey for.
- Select Profile & settings, then Login preferences.
- Locate the Passkey section and choose Manage.
- To create a passkey.
- From the Manage your passkeys screen, select Create passkey.
- Follow the on-screen prompts to create your passkey.
- Your passkey is now set up.
- To delete a passkey.
- From the Manage your passkeys screen, select Remove passkey.
- You'll receive confirmation it was deleted.
- Delete the passkey from your device by opening your password manager in your device settings.
