A transaction can be disputed for a number of reasons (e.g., damaged goods, services not received, unrecognized, etc.).
If there’s an issue with the transaction made, try contact the merchant directly before filing a dispute claim. See also: Do I need to contact the merchant before filing a dispute?
To dispute a transaction in Spend Management using online banking and the U.S. Bank Mobile App
- Select your central billing account, then choose Go to Spend Management.
- Select Transactions, then choose the charge in question.
Note: The Users column will indicate who’s card was used.
- In the Actions column, open the Options drop-down menu and select Dispute transaction.
- Answer the questions to help us determine the reason for your dispute, then select Submit to start your case.
