How do I dispute a transaction in Spend Management?

A transaction can be disputed for a number of reasons (e.g., damaged goods, services not received, unrecognized, etc.).

If there’s an issue with the transaction made, try contact the merchant directly before filing a dispute claim. See also: Do I need to contact the merchant before filing a dispute?

To dispute a transaction in Spend Management using online banking and the U.S. Bank Mobile App

  1. Select your central billing account, then choose Go to Spend Management.
  2. Select Transactions, then choose the charge in question.
    Note: The Users column will indicate who’s card was used.
  3. In the Actions column, open the Options drop-down menu and select Dispute transaction.
  4. Answer the questions to help us determine the reason for your dispute, then select Submit to start your case.
