Collecting documents for a branch visit after a loved one passes.

We want to make you our priority. We're here to help support you through this overwhelming time. You'll want to set up an appointment with your local branch right away. Here are the documents you'll need to bring with you:

  • Original or certified death certificate
  • Bank account information (past statements or letters)

Documents that show your authority over your loved one's financial affairs. Examples of these are:

  • Probate documentation
  • Small estate affidavit/Collection of personal property
  • Executor paperwork
  • Representative paperwork
  • Letters of testamentary
  • Last will and testament
  • Trust documents

You will also need a valid form of identification (one of the following):

  • State driver's license
  • State ID card
  • U.S. passport
  • Military ID
  • U.S. alien registration card
