Before starting the cancellation, make sure your information matches what the merchant has on file. We're only able to cancel services in your name that were paid for with a U.S. Bank debit or credit card. Your subscription is still active until the cancellation process is completed.
Please note cancellation may take a few days to process. You may have a charge for the subscription depending on the billing cycle. There also may be a one-time cancellation fee if you have a fixed period subscription.
To cancel a subscription using online banking or the U.S. Bank Mobile App
- Select the account the subscription is being charged to.
- Locate the recurring transaction and select it to open the details.
- Choose Cancel this subscription.
OR
- Select Plan & track, then choose Summary.
- Choose View your bills & subscriptions.
- Select Cancel subscription in the U.S. Bank Protect 360º tile.
If U.S. Bank can cancel your subscription:
- We’ll ask for some personal details.
- Mark the checkbox if you agree to the Digital Services Agreement.
- Select Cancel subscription. We’ll send a confirmation email, and further communications will be provided by the merchant.
If U.S. Bank cannot cancel your subscription and:
- Merchant offers online cancellation.
- We’ll provide basic steps on how to cancel.
- After reading, select Go to [subscription name].
- You’ll be redirected to the other merchant’s website to complete the cancellation.
- Merchant offers cancellation by phone.
- We’ll provide their phone number and basic steps on how to cancel the subscription.
- You’ll need to call the merchant to complete the cancellation.
- If you’re online, select Back to dashboard to exit.
- If you’re on a mobile device, select Call [subscription name].
