How do I enroll or unenroll in Smart Rewards?

We want to make it easy for you to get more rewards. All you need is a U.S. Bank Smartly checking account. If you don’t have a Smartly checking account, we can change your existing checking account to one during the enrollment process.

If you’re not sure you’ve enrolled before, you can follow the steps below to check.

If you decide to unenroll from Smart Rewards, please be aware you’ll lose access to any tier benefits. Please review the Consumer Pricing Information brochure for details.

To enroll or check the status of the Smart Rewards program using digital banking

  1. Online banking: Select your checking account and choose Account services. Then select Smart Rewards within the “Payments” section.
U.S. Bank Mobile App: Select your checking account and choose Manage at the top of the screen. Then select Smart Rewards within the “Account services” section.
  2. Mark the check box next to the account(s) you want to enroll, then select Continue.
    • Possible conversion: If the checking account is not a Smartly checking account, it will automatically be converted if you continue this process.
    • Status of enrollment: If you’re already enrolled, a confirmation will appear to confirm this. No further action is needed.
