How do I enroll or unenroll in Smart Rewards?

To receive Smart Rewards, your account may need to be converted to a U.S. Bank Smartly Checking account.

When unenrolling from the Smart Rewards program, you'll lose access to any tier benefits and your account will remain a U.S. Bank Smartly Checking account.

Here's how to enroll or unenroll:

Online banking 

Begin by selecting your checking account from the dashboard and choose the Account services. Then locate the "Payments" section and choose Smart Rewards

  • To enroll:
    1. Mark the check box next to the account(s) to enroll and select Continue.
    2. If already enrolled, you'll receive a confirmation page confirming this. No further action is needed.
    3. If not enrolled, select the link to the Consumer Pricing Information brochure to review it and proceed to the next step.
    4. When ready, select Confirm to complete the enrollment.
  • To unenroll:
    • Scroll to the bottom of the page and select Unenroll. Mark the check box next to Yes, unenroll from Smart Rewards and select Confirm.

U.S. Bank Mobile App 

Begin by selecting your checking account from the dashboard, then the Manage tab at the top. Then under the Account services select Smart Rewards.

  • To enroll:
    1. Mark the check box next to the account(s) you'd like to enroll and select Continue.
    2. If already enrolled, you'll receive a confirmation page confirming this. No further action is needed.
    3. If not enrolled, select the link to the Consumer Pricing Information brochure to review it and proceed to the next step.
    4. When ready, select Confirm to complete the enrollment.
  • To unenroll:
    • Scroll down and select Unenroll. Mark the checkbox for Yes, unenroll from Smart Rewards and select Confirm.
