How do I control my financial data shared with third-party applications?

Third-party applications (data aggregators) have previously been granted access to your financial data. If you want to remove access, just follow these steps:

Online banking

  1. Select My Accounts at the top of the page, then choose My Controls.
    • You'll see a list of third-parties that have access to your financial data. In most cases, you'll also see a list of the specific data elements shared.
    • If you or your Shared Access user hasn't shared your information with a third-party, no list will populate.
  2. To manage specific accounts, select Manage sharing details. To remove access entirely, select Stop sharing this data.

U.S. Bank Mobile App

  1. Open the main menu and choose Manage account, then select Manage third-party access
    • You'll see a list of third-parties that have access to your financial data. In most cases, you'll also see a list of the specific data elements shared.
    • If you haven't shared your information with a third-party, no list will populate.
  2. To manage specific accounts, select Manage sharing details. To remove access entirely, select Stop sharing.

Additional information

If you remove access, the third-party won't have ongoing access to your financial data. However, they can retain and use the data previously shared. For more information about a data aggregator, reach out to the third-party directly.

If the aggregator was not granted access by you or your Shared Access user, please contact our Fraud department at 877-595-6256. We're open Sunday through Saturday from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. CT. We accept relay calls.
