How do I edit and cancel an external account transfer?

You can only edit or cancel a transfer prior to 7:00am CST on the day it is scheduled. Same day transfers, once they are submitted cannot be edited or changed. If the transaction is in a status of "Scheduled" it cannot be edited or cancelled. Also, once the transfer is completed, it can't be changed.

Edit and cancel an external account transfer using online banking

  1. Select Transfers at the top of the page and choose External transfers and wires
  2. Select View or edit transfers in the "Past & current activity" section, then choose the transfer you would like to edit or delete. 
  3. Scroll down and choose Cancel transfer or Edit transfer, then confirm your modifications. 

Edit and cancel an external account transfer in the U.S. Bank Mobile App

  1. Select Pay bills & transfer at the bottom of the dashboard, then External transfers, wires, & ACH.
  2. Select View or edit transfers in the "Past & current activity" section, then choose the transfer you would like to edit or delete. 
  3. Scroll down and choose Cancel transfer or Edit transfer, then confirm your modifications.
