Before you can edit or cancel an external account transfer:
- It must be in a pending status and before 7 a.m. CT on the day it's scheduled.
- It cannot be a same-day transfer (i.e., needs to be scheduled for a future date).
To edit or cancel an external account transfer using online banking and the U.S. Bank Mobile App
- Select Transfer & pay from your dashboard.
- From online banking, choose Transfers or from the U.S. Bank Mobile App select Transfer activity.
- Select the Scheduled tab and then choose the transfer.
- To cancel: Select Cancel transfer, then confirm once more to remove it.
- To edit: Select Edit transfer, make your changes, then choose Save.

- Same day transfers cannot be edited or changed once they are submitted.
- If the transfer is in a status of "Submitted" or "Complete", it cannot be edited or cancelled.
