If the transaction is in a status of "Scheduled" or "Submitted", it can be edited or cancelled. However, once the transfer is completed, it can't be changed.
Online banking
- Select Transfers at the top of the page and choose External transfers and wires.
- Select View or update transfers in the "Past & current activity" section, then choose the transfer you would like to edit or delete.
- Scroll down and choose Cancel transfer or Edit transfer, then confirm your modifications.
U.S. Bank Mobile App
- Select Pay bills & transfer at the bottom of the dashboard, then External transfers, wires, & ACH.
- Select View or update transfers in the "Past & current activity" section, then choose the transfer you would like to edit or delete.
- Scroll down and choose Cancel transfer or Edit transfer, then confirm your modifications.
