How do I clear my browsing history, cache and cookies?

If you're having issues with your browser, or just want to clear your history, follow the steps below. You'll want to keep this window open or print the article.

Google Chrome

  1. Log out of online banking. 
  2. In the upper right-hand corner, select the Menu (three vertical dots).
  3. Select History, then History again.
  4. Select Clear browsing data on the left-hand side of the page.
  5. Choose your desired Time range, then select Clear data.
Hint: Use the shortcut Ctrl + H to get to the Clear browsing data page directly (step 4).

You can un-check any data item you don't want to remove before selecting Clear data.
Steps may slightly differ, depending if you are on a PC or Mac computer system.

Internet Explorer
  1. Log out of online banking. 
  2. In the upper right-hand corner, select the gear icon.
  3. Select Safety, then select Delete browsing history.
  4. Then select Delete.
Hint: Use the shortcut Ctrl + Shift + Delete to get to the Delete browsing history page (step 3).

You can un-check any data item you don't want to remove before selecting Delete.

Firefox

  1. Select the Menu (three horizontal bars) in the top right corner.
  2. Select the Options gear icon.
  3. Choose Privacy and security.
  4. Scroll down to Cookies and Site Data.
  5. Select Clear data, Clear, then Clear now.

You can un-check any data item you don't want to remove before selecting Clear now.
Steps may slightly differ, depending if you are on a PC or Mac computer system.

Edge

  1. Select the Menu (three horizontal dots) in the top right corner.
  2. Choose History, then Clear History (next to the "History" page title).
  3. Select Clear.

Safari

  1. From the Menu bar, select the History tab.
  2. Choose the Clear History option.
  3. Choose your desired Time range, then select Clear History.
