Loan extension – This program allows missed payments to move to the end of the loan, extending the loan term. This may result in additional interest paid over the life of the loan and/or a larger final payment, but it can provide relief in the short term while your hardship is being resolved.

  • Re-age (For delinquent, open-end accounts 60 or more days past due only) – This program brings your account to current status without collecting the past-due payments. You then make trial payments to exhibit an ability to resume paying; if successful, you receive a re-age, which brings the account to current status. Payment amounts remain the same moving forward.
  • Line settlement – For this option, you pay an agreed-upon amount, in one lump sum, that is less than what you owe. This settles the account and prevents the account from entering default status. However, the credit report will reflect the settlement, which may affect future financing.

  • Loan extension (non-SBA guaranteed, for closed-end credit only) – This option allows missed payments to move to the end of the loan, extending the loan term. This may result in additional interest paid over the life of the loan and/or a larger final payment, but it can provide relief in the short term while your hardship is being resolved.   • Deferment (SBA guaranteed, for closed-end credit only) – Loan deferment moves all past-due payments to the end of the loan, which means the final payment due at loan maturity will be higher than the regular scheduled payment amount.
  • Re-age (lines of credit, for delinquent, open-end accounts only) – This program brings your account to current status without collecting the past-due payments. You then make trial payments to exhibit an ability to resume paying; if successful, you receive a re-age, which brings the account to current status. Payment amounts remain the same moving forward.
  • Small Business Account Workout Program (for quick loans only) – This program lets you pay off your account balance with decreased payments by restructuring the payment amounts and maturity date.
  • Settlement – If you’re unable to catch up on payments, this option lets you pay an agreed-upon amount, in one lump sum, that is less than what you owe. This settles the account and prevents it from entering default status. However, the settlement may affect future financing or have tax consequences.
