McCaffrey will serve as an ambassador in the bank’s new brand campaign

U.S. Bank is excited to announce a new partnership with NFL All-Pro San Francisco 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey. Known for his dedication, drive and commitment to excellence both on and off the field, McCaffrey now joins U.S. Bank as a proud ambassador of the bank’s Bank Smartly and small business banking offerings.

McCaffrey will be featured in a new U.S. Bank brand campaign launching later this summer, toward the start of the 2026-27 NFL season. This is all part of the bank’s new multi-year partnership as official bank and wealth management sponsor with the NFL. Within the new campaign, McCaffrey will highlight the benefits of Bank Smartly and the bank’s small business banking services.

“Success for me comes from consistency, discipline and making smart decisions,” McCaffrey said. “That’s how I approach all aspects of my life from training to family to finances. That’s why I partnered with U.S. Bank and Bank Smartly — a service that helps people build strong financial habits that work for them, every day.”

Together, the campaign is also shining a spotlight on small businesses — the backbone of our local economies — especially in May during National Small Business Month. McCaffrey himself is a small business owner and has a passion for supporting other entrepreneurs.

“Every day, I’m working to get better through smart preparation and strong habits,” added McCaffrey said. “That philosophy doesn’t stop with training — it carries into how I manage my money. It’s important not only for individuals and families but also for your business. U.S. Bank has a team of experts providing the tools you need to stay disciplined, organized and confident in your financial decisions.”
