U.S. Bank is excited to announce a new partnership with George Kittle, tight end for the San Francisco 49ers, and his wife Claire Kittle, an entrepreneur and digital marketer. The Kittles have been part of the U.S. Bank family as clients for many years. This collaboration marks a significant step forward in the bank’s commitment to supporting professional athletes and their financial journeys on and off the field.
To kick off the partnership, U.S. Bank hosted an event with George and Claire during the 2026 NFL Draft in Pittsburgh. The Kittles participated in a conversation on financial and wealth planning topics hosted by Scott Ford, President of Wealth Management at U.S. Bank.
George and Claire shared their personal stories and encouraged participants to pursue their dreams both on and off the field. The event highlighted U.S. Bank’s dedication to fostering meaningful relationships and creating true impact in the lives of NFL players through its new U.S. Bank Financial Edge™ program, which is a part of the recently announced multi-year partnership with the NFL that named U.S. Bank as an official bank and wealth management sponsor of the league.
“I’ve seen firsthand how important it is to have a trusted partner when it comes to managing your money,” said George Kittle. “I have been a U.S. Bank customer since I was a teenager, and as I’ve grown and my career has evolved, I know how dedicated they are in helping individuals, families and business owners plan with confidence.”
Financial Edge helps athletes navigate the realities of professional football, from entering the league to preparing for life after the game. The program blends real-world financial expertise with insights from NFL athletes themselves, offering sessions ranging from large groups to 1:1 conversations and providing direct access to financial experts who understand the unique pressures, opportunities and decisions players face.
“In football and in life, preparation makes all the difference,” George Kittle said. “That’s why having a team you trust with your financial future matters so much. U.S. Bank has been there for my family for years, helping us think ahead and make smart decisions for our future.”
During the conversation, the Kittles offered advice to other players and their families starting out their NFL journey.
“My best advice for players and their families walking into our shoes – cultivate the best situation for the athlete to be successful because it is not for long, and it is such a short window to have this opportunity to set yourself and your family up for the rest of your life,” said Claire Kittle.
George and Claire Kittle will help shape content and program for Financial Edge. They will partner with U.S. Bank as it aims to works in partnership with the NFL to support players at every stage of their financial journey.
