Alex and Marcus Holman highlight ways their expertise in teamwork helps them as business partners – and new parents

Professional lacrosse players – and husband and wife – Marcus and Alex Holman are starring in a new, two-part YouTube video series created in partnership with U.S. Bank.

The series shows how Marcus, of the Boston Cannons in the Premier Lacrosse League, and Alex, who plays for the Maryland Charm in the Women's Lacrosse League, balance their professional roles and their parenting duties while keeping their household finances on track with help from U.S. Bank.

Alex Holman began her pro lacrosse career in 2009. She played on the U.S. national team in 2014 and won a gold medal in the 2017 World Lacrosse Championship.

The Holmans welcomed their first child, Tiger, to the family last fall.

Marcus Holman has been a professional lacrosse player since 2013. He comes from a family of lacrosse players, with his father coaching the sport at the University of North Carolina, his mother serving as director of operations for the university’s women’s lacrosse team, and both his brother and sister playing lacrosse at UNC as well.

The first episode of the Holmans video series is scheduled to debut on June 17. It and the subsequent installment will be available on the Premier Lacrosse League YouTube page.

U.S. Bank announced a multi-year partnership with the PLL and WLL in 2025, establishing it as the official banking and wealth management parter for both leagues.
