Yes. The U.S. Bank mobile POS allows you to accept contactless payments including Apple Pay and Google Pay.

The first step is to set up an account with a bank that offers Payment Solutions, like U.S. Bank. The “merchant acquiring bank” acts as an intermediary between the business and the credit card company, facilitating payment authentication and other technical aspects, so you can accept credit cards and other electronic payments. Once the electronic payments are processed and approved, the bank distributes the funds into your merchant account.

You can install the mobile POS app on devices that run either iOS 16.4+ or later or Android 10+ or later. You can download this app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. You can install the mobile POS app on multiple cell phones to easily track the sales your employees make using the app on their own devices.

Open a new U.S. Bank Payment Solutions merchant account between April 1st, 2026 and June 30th, 2026, process at least $5,000 in net settled transactions within 60 days of approval and receive a $400 statement credit. Credit is applied within 60 days after reaching $5,000, provided your account remains open, active, and in good standing with no outstanding recovery balance. Limit one credit per Merchant ID; offer is valid for U.S. merchants only. Available to new payment processing accounts for customers not currently using U.S. Bank and/or Elavon (a U.S. Bank company) for merchant processing. Cannot be combined with other promotions. Certain business types, Association Partners, Business Essentials customers and registered Payment Facilitators are ineligible. U.S. Bank may modify or end this offer at any time; additional restrictions may apply.

  2. Promotional offer for the Ingenico Moby/5500 is only available for customers applying for a new U.S. Bank Payment Solutions account through the online application. To qualify for the $49 card reader promotional offer, you must apply online for a new U.S. Bank Payment Solutions account. Offer cannot be redeemed for any other hardware purchase or account credit. Offer is limited to one card reader per customer, and any additional card reader will be $89. U.S. Bank and/or Elavon reserves the right in its sole discretion to modify, suspend or terminate the promotion at any time.

  3. U.S. Bank Payment Solutions are powered by Elavon, a wholly owned subsidiary of U.S. Bank NA. Elavon assesses the following transaction fees, depending on the acceptance method for the credit card payment:

    Swipe, tap, insert: 2.60% of transaction amount + 10 ¢ per item
    Manual transaction: 3.50% of transaction amount + 15 ¢ per item
    Online payments: 2.90% of transaction amount + 30 ¢ per item

    Disclosed transaction fees apply for online applications. Transaction fees may vary and other fees may apply for accounts not opened online.

  4. Tap to Pay on iPhone requires a supported payment app and the latest version of iOS. Update to the latest version by going to Settings > General > Software Update. Tap Download and Install. Some contactless cards may not be accepted by your payment app. Transaction amount limit may apply based on card issuer or network rules. The Contactless Symbol is a trademark owned by and used with permission of EMVCo, LLC. Tap to Pay on iPhone is not available in all markets.   5. Everyday Funding is available at no additional charge to U.S. Bank Payment Solutions merchants with a U.S. Bank Business Checking account. Funding speeds will vary between weekdays and weekends and are dependent on batch times. Funding is based on batch and will be processed every day, including weekends. Activation may take between three to five business days from date of Everyday Funding service request. Once the file is activated, there will be a change in the description of the payment when it is posted to your bank account.
