If your business sends multiple digital payments, like ACH and wires, in a month and enjoys the simplicity of U.S. Bank's online banking platform, you may benefit from signing up for Enhanced Payments. Eligible businesses can be set up with the subscription immediately. The subscription offers access to international, batch and same-day payment options with lower transaction costs.
ACH is an electronic network for financial transactions in the United States. It processes large volumes of credit and debit transactions in batches, including direct deposit, payroll and vendor payments.
A wire transfer is a method of transmitting funds electronically from one financial institution to another. In most cases, the funds are received the same day they are sent. Once a wire transfer is sent, the funds leave the bank immediately and cannot be returned.
Real-time payments through the RTP network provide access to immediate funds, automated processing and rich payment and remittance data 24 hours a day – with fees that are much lower than wires.
You pay a flat monthly fee of $25 and any additional transaction fees offered by Enhanced Payments.
Your business needs the following to enroll:
- U.S. Bank business checking account
- U.S. Bank online banking access using business credentials
- Primary business email address
- Primary mobile phone number
Once we’ve confirmed your eligibility, you’ll be invited to enroll. After completing registration, the service will be available immediately. We’ll send you a welcome email with all the information you need to get started.
