Net Purchases are purchases minus credits and returns. Not all transactions are considered to be purchases and eligible to earn rewards, such as transactions posting as Convenience Checks; Balance Transfers; Advances (including ATM withdrawals, wire transfers, traveler’s checks, money orders, foreign cash transactions, betting transactions, and lottery tickets); interest charges and fees; credit insurance premiums; and transactions to (i) fund certain prepaid card products, (ii) buy currency from the U.S. Mint, or (iii) buy cash convertible items. No retroactive credits will be given for prior purchases. Rewards from different accounts may not be combined. Rewards cannot be used in conjunction with other frequency or reward programs.

Account must be open and in good standing (not past due or overlimit) on the closing date of the billing cycle to earn and redeem rewards and benefits. Each merchant’s business is identified by a category code. A Purchase will not earn additional rewards if the category code applied to a merchant is in a category that is not eligible for additional rewards earning. We do not determine the category codes applied to merchants’ businesses and reserve the right to determine which purchases qualify for additional rewards.

  1. If you sign up for or cancel your Amazon Prime membership after this Account was opened, the Card reward program will change, as described in the Program Rules.

  2. Business Owners with an Amazon Prime membership will earn 5% on Amazon-covered Sites (Amazon.com, Amazon Business, Whole Foods Market, and Amazon Web Services) and prepaid travel booked in the U.S. Bank Travel Center. Business Owners without an Amazon Prime membership will earn 3% on Amazon-covered Sites and prepaid travel booked in the U.S. Bank Travel Center. Purchases made at Amazon sites that operate outside of the United States are not covered sites and therefore not eligible for accelerated rewards.

  3. Rewards for prepaid travel are deposited into the reward account after the purchase has been processed for the prepaid travel reservation. Please allow 1-2 statement billing cycles for your earned rewards to appear on your credit card billing statement.

  4. Each merchant’s business is identified by a category code established by Mastercard. We do not determine the category codes applied to merchants’ businesses and reserve the right to determine which purchases are in the Top Categories and qualify for additional rewards. Top Categories are determined based on category code each billing cycle based on the combined spend of all Cardmembers. Merchants classified as Entertainment include: most cinemas, theme parks, concert venues, professional sport venues, and qualifying ticket sellers. Top Categories may change in the future without notice. Purchases made through a third-party payment account or on an online marketplace (with multiple retailers), excluding Amazon-covered Sites, will not earn additional rewards. In addition, a purchase may not earn additional rewards if the merchant submits the purchase using a mobile or wireless card reader or if you use a mobile or digital wallet to make the purchase.
