  1. Choose the best U.S. Bank Checking account to suit your financial needs.
  2. To receive the additional Workplace benefits, a Segment code is required during account opening.
    • Contact your HR department to obtain the unique Workplace Segment code for your company OR
    • Contact your local U.S. Bank branch to determine if your company is participating.
    • If your company is not currently enrolled in Workplace Banking, your U.S. Bank branch can help get you set-up.

  3. When you have obtained the code, enter it here, or on the How to Apply tab. It will be added to any consumer checking account that you apply for.

Account benefits and applicable fees are dependant on the account type selected, as detailed in the Consumer Pricing Information brochure attached. There are no additional fees to participate in Workplace Banking.

Applying online takes as little as five minutes and is completely secure.

To open a U.S. Bank Checking account online, you need:

  • A minimum opening deposit of $25
  • To be at least 18 years old and a legal U.S. resident
  • A Social Security number
  • A driver’s license or state/military ID

If you are missing any of these items, please apply in person at a branch location.

  1. Discount is calculated as 0.25% of the loan amount. Maximum mortgage discount is $1,000. For existing U.S. Bank home mortgages the refinance discount maximum is $300. Certain mortgages may not be eligible. Information is subject to change without notice. Loan approval is subject to program guidelines.
