If you’re struggling to make payments to your loan, line of credit or home equity line of credit, we’re here for you. Your existing deferment or repayment program with Union Bank will transfer to U.S. Bank and the terms will remain the same.
For home equity lines of credit, a relationship manager will contact you after account conversion to discuss any other important information you need to know.
Once the account has transitioned to U.S. Bank, you’ll also have access to our digital tools online or in the U.S. Bank Mobile App.
To get the most out of your loan or line of credit, enroll in U.S Bank online banking and download the U.S. Bank Mobile App. Starting in late May 2023, you’ll be able to sign up and enjoy the following benefits:

For most accounts, there won't be changes to your current rates and terms. Any changes to the current terms of your account will be explained to you in writing.
The majority of account numbers for loans and lines of credit will not change. However, there may be situations that could impact account numbers for a few accounts. If that occurs, we will communicate this information with you directly.
You should send payments to U.S. Bank after the transition date in late May 2023. Refer to your first U.S. Bank billing statement for payment options.
Online: Once your accounts have completely transitioned to U.S. Bank, you can log in to the U.S. Bank Mobile App or online banking and transfer funds from your U.S. Bank HELOC account to your checking account.
Checks: New checks for your HELOC account will arrive within the first 15 days after your account transition is complete. You should begin using your new checks when they arrive. You can continue to use your Union Bank checks until you receive your new checks.
Branch: You can visit any U.S. Bank branch and request a draw on your HELOC.
Yes, your payment history and previous statements will be available once the account transition is complete.
In late May 2023, you will be able to create your U.S. Bank mobile or online banking account and see information about all your loans or lines of credit. To prepare for enrollment, text GET APP to 872265, and we’ll send you a link to download the U.S. Bank Mobile App.
There will be a blackout period while accounts are actively transitioning to U.S. Bank, which we anticipate taking two to three days. You will not be adversely affected by any delay in posting your payment during this time.
