There’s nothing you need to do now – just keep using your Union Bank Credit Card as usual until your new U.S. Bank Credit Card arrives.
Union Bank is joining U.S. Bank and our goal is to make your transition as seamless as possible. U.S. Bank offers a variety of both personal and business credit cards, including options for cash back, flexible rewards, low interest and credit building.
If you have a Union Bank Credit Card, you should have received a new U.S. Bank Credit Card in the mail.
This is the last day to redeem your Union Bank Credit Card rewards before they transfer to your new card. You won’t be able to redeem your rewards from June 20 through 28 as your account transitions to U.S. Bank.
Union Bank Credit Cards and the associated credit card account numbers are deactivated.
You can view your past Union Bank transaction history and your current U.S. Bank Credit Card balance with U.S. Bank mobile and online banking.
Your Union Bank Credit Card rewards balance is available at U.S. Bank.

Make sure your contact information is up to date with Union Bank prior to your credit card account transition in June. Check your mail and email regularly for additional information about your new credit card account.

A new credit card with a new account number and expiration date will be mailed in late May or early June. Be sure to update any recurring payments with your new credit card’s account number and expiration date. This includes merchants, apps and service providers.
For a short period of time you'll have two credit cards – your Union Bank Credit Card and your new U.S. Bank Credit Card. Please activate your new personal credit card right away and start using it. Once you have activated your U.S. Bank Credit Card, securely destroy your Union Bank Credit Card. If you have a new business credit card, it’ll already be activated and you can begin using it as soon as you receive it.
Your Union Bank Credit Card and the associated credit card account number will deactivate on June 22.
Until June 22, keep making payments to Union Bank like you normally would. After June 22, you'll need to start making payments to U.S. Bank.
In most cases, automatic payments made toward your credit card account balance will transfer. However, in some instances that may not be possible. You’ll receive more information about automatic payment transfers in the mail in early June.
You can view your past Union Bank transaction history and current U.S. Bank Credit Card balance in U.S. Bank mobile and online banking beginning June 28.
You can view your total rewards balance in U.S. Bank mobile and online banking on June 29.
Cash-back deals will be available for Union Bank customers in U.S. Bank mobile and online banking starting in September. Cash-back deals are only available for U.S. Bank personal debit and credit cards. At this time, U.S. Bank business debit and credit cards are not eligible for cash-back deals.
Your new U.S. Bank Credit Card account won’t impact your credit score. Your new U.S. Bank Credit Card will only replace your Union Bank Credit Card on your credit report.

Visa will start deleting Union Bank Credit Card Mobile Wallet tokens on June 12, as Visa doesn’t allow tokens to migrate from one issuer to another. Only Apply Pay, Google Pay and Samsung Pay transactions will be impacted. Once you receive your new U.S. Bank Credit Card, you can follow these instructions to add it to your mobile wallet.
