Memorial Day weekend, May 27 to 29: Checking and savings accounts, CDs, loans and lines of credit, new U.S. Bank Credit Cards, and UnionBanc Investment Services (UBIS) digital access transition to U.S. Bank.
May 30: Clients can sign up for U.S. Bank online and mobile banking and access their accounts using desktop and mobile devices.
June 28: You can view your past Union Bank transaction history and your current U.S. Bank Credit Card balance in online and mobile banking.
June 29: Union Bank Credit Card rewards balances are transferred to your new U.S. Bank Credit Card.

Yes. It is necessary for U.S. Bank to issue new numbers for all deposit accounts when they transition to U.S. Bank – but your Union Bank business account numbers will be usable after conversion. You’ll receive a letter in May with your new account number and additional information, including instructions on how to order new U.S. Bank checks when you’re ready.
You’ll receive a new U.S. Bank Business Debit Card or ATM Card with a new card number, expiration date and three-digit secured code by July 15.
Yes. You may continue to use your existing Union Bank Business Debit Card or ATM Card through July 31, or until you activate your new U.S. Bank Business Debit Card or ATM Card, whichever comes first.
All Union Bank ATMs will soon be U.S. Bank ATMs. From now until May 30, you’ll only be able to access and perform transactions using your primary checking and primary savings accounts. Once the transition is complete, you’ll have full access to all your accounts and all ATM capabilities.
No. Your PIN won’t change. You’ll be able to use your existing PIN with your new U.S. Bank Business Debit Card or ATM Card.
From Memorial Day weekend through July 31, you won’t be able to change the PIN for your Union Bank and U.S. Bank Business Debit Card or ATM Card. If you forgot your PIN, please call 24-Hour Banking to request a PIN mailer, which will provide your original PIN.
Most automatic payments that were set up with your Union Bank Business Debit Card will automatically be updated with your new card information (card number, expiration date and the three-digit security code displayed on the back of your card). You will need to verify all your automatic payments were updated accordingly.

Yes. You’ll be able to request cash back when you make a purchase using your business debit card and enter your PIN.
Yes. You may continue to use your existing Union Bank checks and deposit slips until your supply runs out.
For clients who currently receive e-statements with Union. Bank, we’ll continue to provide e-statements with U.S. Bank at no charge when you sign up for U.S. Bank mobile or online banking
Clients with accounts converting to Silver Business Checking won’t be charged a paper statement fee through May 2024.
There is a paper statement fee for all other business checking accounts converting to U.S. Bank. The Business Pricing Information that will be mailed to you prior to your account transition will provide additional information applicable to paper statements.
Your service with your payroll vendor will continue as it does today. You’ll need to provide your new checking account number to your payroll vendor once you receive it.
A new U.S. Bank Business Credit Card with a new account number and expiration date will be mailed to you in late May/early June. See our credit card conversion page to learn more.
Your safe deposit box will remain at the same location unless you have been notified in a separate letter.
