After your account transfers, you'll be able to use your smartphone or mobile device to download the U.S. Bank Mobile App. Here are some of the tasks you’ll be able to complete online, on your phone, wherever you go:
You’ll receive a new U.S. Bank Debit and/or ATM Card by July 15, 2023. If you haven’t received your new card by July 15, 2023, call 24-Hour banking at 800-USBANKS (872-2657). Until then, continue to use your Union Bank Debit and/or ATM Card as you always have.
After you receive your new card, be sure to:
You’ll be able to use your current Union Bank Debit and/or ATM Card and your existing PIN number through July 31. Your Union Bank Debit and/or ATM Card will stop working on August 1, or when you activate your new U.S. Bank Debit and/or ATM Card, whichever comes first.
For now, your relationship with Union Bank shouldn’t change at all. You’ll still be able to visit your local branch or ATM and manage your accounts as you always have. You’ll receive free access to U.S. Bank ATMs when you use your Union Bank debit card, ATM card or credit card.
Union Bank personal, wealth management and business accounts will automatically start to move to U.S. Bank in May. Credit card and trust accounts will move in June. Please be on the lookout for important information about your account changes via email, letter and online.
Yes, Union Bank branches will open as U.S. Bank on May 30. U.S. Bank will stay in the California, Washington and Oregon markets that Union Bank currently serves. Although banking is increasingly being done online, we strongly believe the future of banking will combine technology with personal relationships – both do-it-yourself and do-it-together. If you’re looking for a nearby branch after the transition, you’ll have access to branches at usbank.com/locations.

After your account(s) convert to U.S. Bank you’ll be able to sign up for U.S. Bank mobile and online banking. We’re excited to make our industry-leading technologies, superior functionality and broader servicing options available to you.

You won’t be able to deposit checks at ATMs beginning May 25 at 7 p.m. PT through May 29. Mobile check deposits will be unavailable beginning around 3 p.m. PT on May 26 through May 29. Consider cashing or depositing any checks before or after the transition.
Beginning May 26 at 3 p.m. PT, you won’t be able to make account updates, initiate new transactions or use mobile check deposit with Union Bank mobile and online banking. Payments scheduled to be paid after May 26 will be paid on the date requested, but they won’t appear in your balance and transaction history until you sign up for U.S. Bank mobile and online banking.
