What is a Visa Buxx Card?

Visa Buxx is a prepaid card for for teens (13 and older) allow them to shop at millions of locations worldwide. It's not a credit card. Visa Buxx allows parents to teach their teens financial responsibility without the typical risks associated with credit cards.

 

Visa Buxx is welcome everywhere Visa debit cards are accepted, so it's great for purchasing schoolbooks, every day expenses, travel and life's little emergencies.

 

By the way, if your teen's Visa Buxx Card is ever lost or stolen, you're not responsible for any unauthorized purchases.1

How does a U.S. Bank Visa Buxx Card Work?

Step 1:  Parent loads money onto their teens’ Visa Buxx Card online, at a branch or over the phone.

Step 2:  Teens use the card everywhere Visa debit cards are accepted worldwide.
Step 3:  Teens and parents can check the account balance and purchase history online.
Step 4:  Parent reloads the card and helps their teen manage their account online or by phone.

 

Save money on fees when you load your card from a U.S. Bank check card, credit card, or checking account. When you sign up for the U.S. Bank Visa Buxx Card, you'll automatically save $5. Please see the "U.S. Bank Visa Buxx Cardholder Agreement" for full disclosure of fees.
