“Invested in Diversity” award recognizes firm’s impact on advancing diversity in the legal profession

U.S. Bank’s Law Division today honored Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP with its “U.S. Bank Invested in Diversity” award at a celebration in Minneapolis. Morgan Lewis is the first recipient of the award, which was created to recognize on an annual basis one of U.S. Bank’s preferred counsel firms that has made a significant impact on advancing diversity in the legal profession. 

“Diversity, equity and inclusion are defining characteristics of U.S. Bank’s culture and our company. It’s something we draw strength from every day, and we strive to work with others who share these values,” said Jim Chosy, senior executive vice president and general counsel of U.S. Bank. “I’m proud to celebrate Morgan Lewis for their strong commitment and demonstration of furthering diversity within their firm and across the profession. Morgan Lewis has shown a high rate of promotion of diverse associates to equity partner, demonstrating the care they’ve taken to foster the careers of diverse attorneys. The firm’s high proportion of diverse partners in leadership positions and their recent Mansfield 2.0 certification also reinforces their commitment.
