U.S. Bancorp director Dorothy Bridges and U.S. Bank inclusion and diversity leader Greg Cunningham have been named to the EBONY Power 100.
Published annually by EBONY magazine, the list recognizes and celebrates the leaders or color who are impacting and shaping the world. It dates back to 1971, when the publication launched its inaugural “Most Influential Black Americans List.”
“The EBONY Power 100 list is comprised of all-star individuals from a variety of backgrounds and disciplines who possess an incredible and innate passion for innovation, culture and community leadership – the same values that have driven the EBONY brand for nearly 75 years,” said EBONY Media Operations CEO Michael Gibson in a Forbes article announcing this year’s list. “Determining the individuals who make the list each year is no easy feat. There are many talented African-Americans around the world, which leaves our team truly challenged with narrowing down the number to 100.”
Bridges is senior vice president for public affairs and community engagement at the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis, which includes community development, regional outreach, government relations and the Center for Indian Country Development, in addition to operations at the Helena Branch. She joined the U.S. Bancorp board of directors in July 2018.
Cunningham’s mission is to make diversity and inclusion a business imperative. At U.S. Bank, he is focused on workplace culture, customer loyalty, supplier diversity and community outreach. He joined the bank in 2015 as vice president of customer engagement before moving into his current role in 2016.
