  U.S. Bank is actively seeking skilled, motivated candidates for their co-operative education program in the Cincinnati market.  Co-ops and interns will be engaged in a multi-faceted program to participate in the development of one of our flagship web applications, the SinglePoint Treasury Management Platform.  SinglePoint provides on-line e-banking solutions to our corporate customers, including transaction initiation, fraud mitigation, mobile accessibility, check imaging and reporting in all areas of the application.  It is developed  right here in Cincinnati,  has over 3 million lines of code and continues to be a strong growth area for the bank.

The selected candidate will be given opportunities to work on the SinglePoint product with our Treasury Management business partners.    The program will include the successful candidate joining one of our Agile teams, participating in all agile ceremonies and taking on coding user stories that will be included in the next quarterly production release.  Career developers will help navigate the building of the development environment, the designing of solutions for stories and reviewing code, offering suggestions for efficiency, style and readability.  The successful candidate will be exposed to Java Development,  Agile Development, Unit Testing and Automation Build Automation & Tools, Secure Coding Techniques, and Production Systems.


  Required Basic Qualifications:
Working towards a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent
Basic technical programming and logic skills, strongly preferring Java as a language
HTML development including Javascript and CSS.
Exposure to database concepts
