U.S. Bank is seeking a motivated Project Delivery Manager Lead with liaison and relationship management experience to contribute toward the success of USBHM’s strategic direction and initiatives which will include to fully align with Government-Sponsored Enterprise (GSE) offerings.
• Directly leads and manages program/project staff in the delivery of Retail and Wholesale change initiatives associated with the strategic advantages offered by the GSE’s and others. This role is broad in nature and will require knowledge of the loan origination process; as well as fully understanding the businesses technological direction.
• Manages change initiatives of varied complexity using the defined project management methodology and tools in support of the above.
• Manages business change projects/releases from initial concept through final implementation, including all business readiness activities in support of Retail and Wholesale businesses, with specific emphasis on GSE offerings.
• Collaborates and interacts with all areas impacted by the business change project/release including business line executives and leaders, vendors, internal technology resources, other bank departments, etc.
• Facilitates cross team issues using communication mechanisms to break down barriers and gain consensus.
• Recommends changes to departmental practices, business line processes, project solution options, etc. to ensure successful change implementation and business case realization.
 

Qualifications

 
Basic Qualifications
- Master's degree, or equivalent work experience
- 10 or more years of experience in project management and leadership activities
- Five or more years of managerial experience
 
Preferred Skills/Experience
- Served as primary lead on 1-2 medium to large (12+ months) business-led programs over the last 3 years
- Partnered with executives and project managers to coordinate and sequence delivery across related projects to maximize benefit delivery and reduce risk
- Demonstrated capability to oversee multiple concurrent projects, providing coaching and assistance to keep project managers and project resources on track and anticipate project delivery challenges
- Utilizes approved project methodology and tools, managed projects and project resources from initial concept through final implementation.
- Leverages detailed understanding of mortgage origination and operations, mortgage technology, and program management methodologies.
- Significant experience/knowledge of Mortgage, particularly as it relates to the areas of process design and optimization.
- Experience/familiarity with GSE offerings
