U.S. Bank is seeking a dynamic Senior Project Team Leader with development lead experience to contribute toward the success of our technology initiatives in Enterprise Data Management and big data technologies. Manages project activities of a development or support team consisting of employees, and on-shore/off-shore contractors. Coordinates the engagement and activities of development and testing resources from our big data team with multiple large enterprise projects. Develops detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports. Creates or participates in the development of the statement of work. Completes final testing for conformance to standards and adherence to design specifications. Leads the development of design requirements, designs, tests and documents. Implements systems and programs. Provides technical support to project team members. Analyzes and makes recommendations for technical design requirements of external applications as needed. Directs, motivates, and develops project staff. Identifies and addresses training and development needs of project managers and project teams.

Qualifications

 
Basic Qualifications
-Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
-At least 6 years of experience with developing and implementing applications.
 
Preferred Skills/Experience
- Comfortable working in “big data” environment to continuously seek and promote automation and adoption
- Experience working and managing modern big data technologies including Hadoop, Informatica, Spark.
- Successful completed projects in BI, Big Data space is a big plus
- Understanding of data flows from Source Systems to Hadoop environment
