U.S. Bank is seeking a motivated Project Manager with strong IT project management process and methodologies experience to contribute toward the success of our technology initiatives.
This position is in support of IT infrastructure projects relating to satellite office/branch locations. It requires the ability to coordinate the work of several teams and vendors to ensure project success. On many projects the PM will also place orders, write RFCs, draw up the floor plans, etc. Projects range from new installations, remodels, relocations and decommissioning on closure. All aspects of IT infrastructure at these locations are in scope. This includes networking, cabling, servers, workstations, peripherals, telephony and security interfaces. These implementations often occur outside regular business hours and on weekends. The PM in this position will be required to monitor implementations so they can quickly react and resolve issues that may arrive.
Directs and manages overall work efforts of a project team, ensuring proper controls are in place and processes are followed. Provides oversight to meet established function, quality, cost, and schedule goals and objectives for projects with limited complexity and durations of six months or less from initial concept through post implementation per methodology and via approved project tools. Serves as a liaison and builds bridges and relationships with key project stakeholders. Authors the project management artifacts. Develops and maintains project plans, works with resource managers to obtain resources, and manages issues/risks. Ensures project governance is established and observed. Authors effective, clear, concise, and relevant communication for program/project stakeholders. Presents message to audiences including team leads. Determines knowledge and skill sets required to ensure successful project outcomes. Manages project team size of 10 employees or less.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
At least 2 years experience with tools and techniques for planning, organizing, monitoring and controlling IT projects.
