The Credit Decision Rules Automation Analyst will identify opportunities to improve automation of credit underwriting and product guidelines, calculations and requirements to eliminate manual processes and improve efficiency.  The Credit Decision Rules Automation Analyst will translate credit and underwriting guidelines into rule sets and document process flows and modeling by observing the credit decisioners to determine what automated rules will provide greatest impact to productivity and accuracy.  The Credit Decision Rules Automation Analyst position will collaborate with internal and external organizations such as Change Management, Compliance, Fair and Responsible Banking, Secondary Marketing, Underwriting Operations, and Investors to write, build, test and implement rule requirements that will interface with USBHM Loan Origination Systems. The successful execution of the Decision Rules Automation Analyst will result in improved real time automated Decisioning  of income and ratio calculations, loan compliance and credit policy rules, Investor guidelines, etc. while reducing defects. 
 

Qualifications

 
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree, or equivalent work experience
- Eight to ten years of experience in project management activities
- Three or more years of managerial experience
 
Preferred Skills/Experience
- Considerable knowledge of assigned business line or functional area
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Thorough knowledge of project management
- Ability to identify and resolve exceptions and to analyze data
- Demonstrated leadership skills
- Knowledge of Mortgage Credit Risk Analysis, Income, Collateral, Assets, Reserves, Cross Layering of Risk, Regulatory Guidelines, Mortgage Products and Pricing, Automated Underwriting Decisioning Engines, Integration and System Maintenance of Loan Origination Systems
- Experience writing business models
