Responsibilities:
  • Participates in defining, developing, documenting, and measuring processes and/or tools to ensure the highest level of efficiency and quality is achieved while reducing support costs. 
  • Works with internal groups to document, analyze, and re-design business processes. 
  • Performs incident audits to ensure quality and consistency. 
  • Manages small projects and frequently interfaces with business lines, including management; and/or internal resources. 
  • Responsible for addressing process gaps and/or efficiencies as identified through the Assignee Group Survey. 
  • Analyzes, documents, and disseminates process changes and productivity gains while coordinating activities with other service areas and functions. 
  • Centralizes and documents all Service Center processes.  Monitors reports and trend incidents that have breached Operating Level Agreements.  Reduces the mean time to repair for incidents created from the Service Center.
 

Qualifications

 
Skills & Qualifications:
 
  • Pursuing an advanced degree in the area of IT process/project management
  • ITIL Service Management Foundation certification
  • Experience within a total information technology (IT) environment.
  • At least 3 years’ experience with tools and techniques for planning, organizing, monitoring and controlling IT projects.
  • Strong analytical skills and detail-oriented
  • Ability to influence others, manage projects, and facilitate meetings
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Preferred skills/experience in: Business assessment, IT Standards, procedures, policy. ITSM, Capability maturity model, IT systems management, IT audit and control, IT quality assurance, IT project management, Business process modeling, Requirements analysis and workflow analysis
  • Proficient computer skills, especially Microsoft Office (including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) applications
  • Must be comfortable with ambiguity and have the ability to seek out required information to complete tasks
