Treasury Management Group Product Manager - Strategic Client Initiatives

U.S. Bank’s Global Treasury Management (GTM) business is one of the largest providers of Payments & Cash Management solutions in United States across a diverse base of corporate, public sector, financial institutions, commercial and business banking customers. We are looking for a seasoned group product management leader in the Payments and Treasury Management space to drive successful execution on large product and client initiatives. This role will support the heads of various Product families within GTM in managing large-client deals and initiatives from identification of opportunity to pricing/profitability, complexity and readiness assessment, client contracting and coordination of scope delivery in collaboration with Sales, Implementations, Operations and Technology organizations.
- Create a framework for managing large and complex client initiatives.
- Ongoing communication and engagement with stakeholders to ensure alignment and collaboration on such initiatives.
- Define appropriate KPIs and metrics to measure execution success and develop recommendations to advise senior management.
- For each initiative, provide business oversight over project team ensuring projects meet required scope, plans are appropriately managed and governed, timely escalation of risks and issues, dependencies and resource requirements are highlighted early.
- Ensure compliance to all required internal processes prior to any external commitments are made or any new initiative is moved to “go live” phase.

- 5+ years of experience in Payments/Cash Management or related businesses in Product or Project Management roles.
- Understands current market trends and client expectations/buying behavior in Corporate Treasury space.
- Successful track record of supporting and leading complex programs in large multi-product organizations.
- Prior experience in working on in-house and vendor supported products.
- Understands product costing, P&L management and has extensive worksheet and analytics skills.
- Can communicate effectively with team members, senior executives and business partners.
- Works well in a fast paced, cross-functional environment.
- Formal training/ certification in project management.
- Prior experience in technical project management/product development.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing or related field or equivalent work experience.
- Ability to travel as needed.
