Senior Product Manager 5 - Company and Community Card

As part of the Small Business Credit Card division, the Group Product Manager for Company and Community Card will be responsible for managing profitability and growth for this segment.  Company and Community Card Product Manager will help drive strategies to accelerate how we attract, grow and retain high value customers.  Successful candidates should be goal oriented and should desire successful outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Drives strategy and develop growth plans for Company and Community Card.
  • Create proactive, targeted marketing plans incorporating sales enablement.
  • Partners across business lines, informs and influences key product decisions.
  • Analyzes, tracks and is responsible for product growth, profitability and contribution, including spend, pricing and fees.
  • Manages design, development, implementation and enhancement of new or existing products that support organization and business line objectives.
  • Manages the development and maintenance of competitive analysis and market research of competing products and services to identify customer needs and trends.
  • Creates strategy for development of collateral material, advertising, promotional programs, sales training programs, operational procedures and systems requirements to ensure that sales departments are provided with appropriate sales, merchandising and administrative tools.
  • Reviews strategic product and market perspectives; evaluating long term effects and anticipating changes.
  • Reviews risk data related to product line(s) and ensures risks are effectively monitored and managed.
  • Ensures products meet state and Federal regulatory requirements and coordinates legal review of all supporting collateral materials and documentation.


Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
  • 10 or more years of experience as a Product Manager
  • Five or more years of management experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong product management, design and development skills
  • Considerable knowledge of product/program development, pricing, implementation and strategic analysis
  • Excellent management, leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Thorough knowledge of competitive market, operations and various products and services
  • Well-developed verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven track record of driving innovation and change. Challenges the status quo, and supports risk taking through informed judgment.
  • Results driver with strong will to win.
  • Strong financial and competitive analysis and PC skills
  • Project management expertise, with the ability to mobilize, drive and direct resources across the organization without direct reporting lines.
