The Product Management Senior Analyst is a key member of the Mortgage Product Management team, which develops and executes strategies to ensure our mortgage lending channels are supported with products that meet borrower needs, remain competitive in the marketplace, and align with investor guidelines and the Bank’s risk appetite.

The Product Management Senior Analyst is responsible for the following activities, for one or more Home Mortgage product lines:
1. Conduct market research to identify, quantify, and assess opportunities to improve product performance, in support of Home Mortgage company objectives
2. Coordinate and support product governance forums to collect market intelligence and new needs, establish product priorities, and measure post-launch performance of new products
3. Recommend changes in product strategies and tactics to address gaps in product performance targets versus actual performance
4. Coordinate with Secondary Marketing and Credit Risk Management to negotiate product terms and exceptions with product investors and partners (e.g., Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae, Government agencies, Mortgage Insurers)
5. Support the implementation of new products and product changes – in our lending technology platforms, in document, policy, and procedure updates, and in channel rollout activities (e.g., training and communications)
6. Directly manage multiple Home Mortgage Product guidelines, ensuring they accurate and current in their guidance to internal and external audiences
 

Qualifications

 
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
- Five to eight years of experience in marketing or related field
 
Preferred Skills/Experience
- At least 5-8 years’ experience leading mortgage lending product analyses and product initiatives
- Strong working knowledge of mortgage products guidelines and products offered by the GSEs (Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae), FHA, VA, USDA, Housing Finance Agencies, and bank portfolios
- Proven ability to build outstanding relationships with investors (GSEs, government agencies, bank portfolio managers), MI companies, and related stakeholders
- Strong track record of effectively partnering with Secondary Marketing, Credit Risk Management, Compliance, and Sales
- Prior experience with market research and product analyses, in mortgage lending contexts
- Experience implementing mortgage products in loan origination systems, including loan document changes
- Strong communication, collaboration, and influence skills
- Mortgage Bankers Association certifications preferred (e.g., CMB)
