Head of Payments Products - Global Treasury Management

DESCRIPTION 
U.S. Bank’s Global Treasury Management (GTM) business is a major provider of Payments & Cash Management solutions across a diverse range of institutional and business customers. We are looking for a seasoned industry leader to lead GTM’s Payments Product group, a critical and growing revenue driver for the business.
 
FUNCTION
Has responsibility for developing and executing the strategy for the Payments business. This individual will be responsible for setting and meeting a revenue plan, developing the product strategy and managing the products offered, ensuring expenses are managed and regulatory obligations are met, setting go to market approach and pricing parameters. In partnership with Operations and Technology groups, the Payments head will also set the platform strategy and create a short/ medium/ long term investment approach to continuously innovate and adapt the business in a dynamic market and regulatory environment.
 
This individual will also ensure that the Payments product team and their efforts are integrated with Sales and Marketing to drive market presence, customer top of mind recall and wallet share.  In addition, the leader in this role will also engage with the industry and peer Banks as well as Fintech's in a proactive way to help drive Payments business forward.
 

Qualifications

 
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelors’ degree or equivalent.
- 10+ years’ experience in the Payments/Cash Management business, including significant Product leadership experience and track-record.
- Understands the needs of current Corporate Treasury senior executives buying these products.
- Can communicate effectively with team members, senior executives and business partners.
- Works well in a fast paced, cross-functional environment.
- Has experience in building, managing and leading great teams.
- Familiar with managing a mix of in-house and vendor supported solutions, including current vendor management best practices.
- Self-motivated.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of software
 
QUALIFICATIONS:  PREFERRED
- MBA or Master’s in Finance/ Marketing.
- Regulatory knowledge and background in Payments.
- In addition to Product Management, experience across Sales and/ or Operations and/ or Technology in the Cash Management business.
- Background in Liquidity Management.

- Experience/ exposure to APIs and client integration.
