US Bank Investment Services Product Development team is responsible for the strategic direction of product across the Investment Services business lines.  The team is responsible for determining product gaps assessments, establishing market opportunities and trends, defining technology enhancements, creating solutions, building and communicating strategic roadmaps, leading, executing and overseeing the strategic product management for a product line, or a group of product line(s) in support of the organization’s goals and market needs. 
The team is collaboratively responsible with the line of business heads for meeting product profit and growth goals, recommending revisions and enhancements to product line(s) to stimulate sales and efficiency objectives.
Role Description
As the part of the Investment Services Product Development Team you will directly and/or through a team, and our partners, engage in, lead and execute and where appropriate be a team member overseeing the strategic product management responsibilities for the bank’s Investment Services product platform in support of Investment Service’s goals and market needs. 
  • The position is responsible for understanding the end to end products across all lines of business. Defining the current state product, identifying, defining and analyzing improvements, presenting business cases, and setting out rolling 3-5 year roadmaps showing improvement in efficiency, effectiveness, coverage and opportunity to Investment Services clients. 
  • The role includes identifying process, and technology enhancements, while evaluating skills and experience needed to affect a market standard product, with the goal of ensuring the bank has the appropriate framework for leveraging these products to its clients across all Investment Services lines of business.  Lines of business include Institutional Trust & Custody, Corporate Trust, Fund Services, Alternative Investment services,
  • The role is intended to consider expansion and follow the sun operating models domestically in the US, London, and Dublin.   
  • Collaborating with the Corporate, Treasury and Wholesale bank units seeking synergies or opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the business lines and internal partners, including Legal, Compliance, Fiduciary Services, Risk, and Operations to understand key opportunities/challenges and mitigate risk related to new enhancements and existing products.
  • Be able to  understand, consider and discuss cross application processing and systems improvements, drive business architecture and technology simplifications conversations,
  • Identify appropriate solutions to changing regulatory requirements recommending processes for new and existing products to ensure efficient and accurate end-to-end processing.
  • Manage partner relationships, leveraging relationships to enhance the bank’s operating model, technology platforms and promote the use efficiently.
  • Maintain an in-depth understanding of industry trends and competitive landscape to ensure the bank’s investment platform meets client needs and is competitive in the marketplace.


Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
- 10 or more years of product management experience
- Four or more years of managerial experience

- Considerable knowledge of product/program development, pricing, implementation and strategic analysis
- Excellent management, leadership and interpersonal skills
- Advanced marketing and marketing research skills
- Thorough knowledge of competitive market, operations and various products and services within assigned area
- Well-developed verbal and written communication skills
- Strong financial and competitive analysis and PC skills
