Fund Services Business Technology Analyst Manager - Securities Services Strategy & Solutions Lead

The Securities Services (SS) - Fund Services Business Analyst Manager will work directly with the senior leaders within Fund Services to support a multi-year strategic roadmap. This role will be responsible for managing the creation of business requirements documents and subsequent user acceptance testing of these requirements so that the roadmap can become reality.
This role requires strong business analysis, relationship building, Fund Services business experience and leadership skills.  The position will require the incumbent to concurrently manage work on multiple platforms, interface with internal and external resources to successfully implement projects, and ensure an outstanding client experience. The incumbent will also act as a consultant and partner with senior leadership to develop project strategy and direction to meet business goals. 
This position will manage a team of business analysts.  The manager will be responsible for recruiting, directing, motivating and developing staff; maximizing their individual contribution, their professional growth, and their ability to function effectively with their colleagues as a team. The manager may also be asked to function as a Business Analyst on key projects.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent work experience; Masters degree in business or related information technology competency preferred
- 10 or more years of experience in trust and securities operational functions, preferably as a Sr. Business Analyst or related experience (focus on Fund Services functions, particularly 40Act Funds, Alternative Investments, Fund Administration and Accounting and Transfer Agency)
- Seven or more years of management experience:
  • 5+ years of project/program  experience
  • Demonstrated ability to break down and analyze multi-dimensional business and technical issues.  Experience in integrating information from a variety of resources, formats and systems
  • Proven ability to drive successful implementation of  technical solutions, including:
    • Gathering business requirements
    • Developing/Reviewing test strategies, test plans and schedules, tracking test issues and reporting on test results
    • Identifying and providing solutions for quality data management
  • Strong leadership skills, data analysis on application development projects, and translating broad requirements into specific objectives, and action plans.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive execution, integrating efforts across business functions.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously, including for scheduling meetings, planning agendas, conferring with business line leaders, documenting and making verbal and written presentations.
