Directly and through staff, manages and coordinates the operational activities for the Asset File team in Trust Technology and Support Services (TT&SS) under general guidance.  Ensures quality service and effective securities operations activities for all supported internal and external customers.  Accomplishes results through the effective management of staff that may range from lower level non-exempt through exempt level professionals. Administers corporate policies and procedures and ensures compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Proactively manages operational risks associated with span of responsibility, including the identification of control gaps and the design of operational controls to mitigate risks and financial exposure to the organization. Participates in the review and recommendation of operational systems and procedures affecting assigned units, and coordinating system conversions from an operations perspective.

Qualifications

 
Basic Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One to three years of experience in trust and securities operational functions
- Minimum one year of management experience
 
Preferred Skills/Experience
- Thorough knowledge of trust and securities operational functions, systems, procedures, products and services
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of legal, regulatory and accounting principles which directly affect Wealth Management & Securities Services business lines and clients
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational and project management skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Basic supervisory skills, including some knowledge of human resources
- Ability to manage multiple, unrelated tasks
- Bachelor's degree preferred
