Vault Manager

Management of day to day functions in a mortgage custody vault and have the ability to perform each function after training. Develop internal partnerships to share staff and other resources during periods of peak workload as well as consult with Internal customers on production timing and deadlines. Responsible for assisting in meeting daily customer deadlines, customer projects, and the oversight of the vault supervisors and vault staff. Manager will have to work within a defined a defined set of procedures, standards, and Industry regulations. Accomplishes results through the effective management of staff that may range from lower level non-exempt through exempt level professionals. Responsible for recruitment of future staff and must have the ability to conduct thorough interviews. Manager will be responsible for annual reviews and periodic staff progress reporting.

 

Qualifications

 
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
- Three to five years of operations experience in the financial services industry
- Two or more years of supervisory/management experience

Preferred Skills/Experience
- Experience managing a diverse workforce with varying levels of tenure and experience
- Experience with Vault or Warehouse operations utilizing unit tracking tools
- Thorough knowledge of operation functions, systems, policies and procedures for the assigned area
- Strong organizational, managerial and project management skills
- Well-developed customer relations skills
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Basic knowledge of banking operations and human resources
