Elavon is currently seeking an eCommerce Marketing Manager, who will be responsible for contributing to the development of eCommerce marketing strategies and ensuring marketing plans are designed in support of those strategies. This position requires a results-oriented individual who can quickly and effectively respond to the ever-changing needs of the business. The ideal candidate is a rising marketing professional with proven, hands-on experience developing and executing market programs including digital marketing, content and social media marketing, event management, and campaigns. The position reports to the VP, Head of Global eCommerce Marketing.
The main focus of this position is to support the growth of eCommerce sales by executing structured, impactful marketing programs that drive lead and revenue generation and ultimately, market share. He/she will work in tandem with the eCommerce sales teams and eCommerce market development consultants to drive channel and business objectives, determine marketing success factors and influence strategy, evaluate revenue and growth opportunities, and work within cross-functional teams as appropriate. Programs may include digital marketing, marketing campaigns, brand and awareness efforts, sales promotions, event management, and other standard marketing programs. Additional responsibilities include:
Execution of effective marketing initiatives:
  • Works with eCommerce sales leaders and Product Marketing to create value story and sales/pitch presentations;
  • Works with Digital Marketing team to create, recommend, and execute online messaging for microsites and Elavon global websites, including user experience, customer experience, and architecture designed for SEO and SEM;
  • Creates impactful PowerPoint presentations using design skills for sales and market development leaders;
  • Serves as the primary conduit with U.S. Bank Social Media teams and leads Elavon social media campaign efforts with Elavon Marketing teams to create a unified calendar and structured approach to LinkedIn and Twitter campaigns;
  • Leads Elavon content marketing strategy for eCommerce along with relationship with Content Marketing vendor to ensure effective use of budget;
  • Develops content and process for social media monitoring with approved vendor;
  • Delivers impactful lead gen campaigns with immediate and measurable ROI;
  • Manages project budgets and expenditures within company process;
  • Manages legal and compliance approvals for all marketing initiatives;
  • Analyzes campaign metrics and makes any necessary adjustments;
  • Develops campaign/program dashboard monitoring results; and
  • Determines revenue contribution and submits for inclusion into canvas reporting - monthly, quarterly, YTD.


Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field
  • Six-plus years of demonstrated, progressive experience in planning and executing marketing campaigns
  • Digital marketing, social media, and content marketing experience
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Proven ability to successfully handle multiple projects and meet critical deadlines in fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • A team player who is flexible, results- and service-oriented, with a passion for creativity and innovation
  • Payments industry experience
  • Ability to travel when required
