Sr. Group Application Manager

U.S. Bank is seeking an accomplished Senior Group Application Manager with resource allocation and project management experience to contribute toward the success of our technology initiatives. Manages multiple development projects, development groups, and/or application support functions for multiple business lines or a major business segment. Recruits, directs, motivates and develops staff to maximize their individual contribution, their professional growth, and their ability to function effectively with their colleagues as a team. Oversees the development and implementation of multiple, complex, organization-wide systems. Partners with business line and Technology Operation Services senior management to oversee or develop and implement technology plans and strategies. Provides direction and oversight for application support functions to ensure quality processing while meeting or exceeding application service level commitments. Defines and manages financial plan and forecast for assigned departments. Provides oversight and manages financials within approved plan and forecast. Interfaces with senior management to ensure application systems and projects are meeting or exceeding their expectations. Provides oversight to address application system issues. Defines and manages resource requirements and allocations. Monitors and improves quality and ensures 'best practice' development techniques. Manages managers and approximately 8 full time employees. Oversees complex employee relations issues. Approves management hires/transfers and salary adjustments. Responsible for the planning, development, and control of large, aggregate budgets.

This role specifically will be leading our efforts on Advanced Process Automation which is a key new initiative for US Bank. This role will manage development groups that will be used to plan, develop and release automations for our business partners. They will be responsible for defining requirements and releases, resource planning, project communication, and delivering the automations into production.




Basic Qualifications
-Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
-At least 8 years experience with major tasks, deliverables, formal methodologies and disciplines for delivering new or enhanced applications.
-At least 10 years experience with developing and implementing applications.
