Senior Application Developer - Java

U.S. Bank National Association (“U.S. Bank”) is hiring a Senior Application Developer – Java in Gresham, OR. Duties: Contribute toward the success of the bank's technology initiatives as part of the Integrated Card Systems Team, which provides application development services for the Retail Payment Services division; contribute to all facets of the software development lifecycle, including defining, designing, and developing Digital Channel solutions for web, mobile and self-service channels; technical design of the Front End portion of Java web applications including technical specifications, coding, unit testing and peer-based code reviews, coordinating or completing IT and UAT testing support tasks, resolving reported project defects, performing application builds, and coordinating implementations to the various development, test and production environments; conduct thorough impact analysis and complete accurate technical design prior to the development and implementation of new or changed applications; evaluate the operating efficiency of existing applications and assist with production support; and identify opportunities for application, process, or team improvement, and recommend the best alternative.

Requires a Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or a closely related technical field and 3 years of experience or a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or a closely related technical field and 5 years of post-Bachelor's experience. Must also have the following experience: 3 years of software development in the banking/financial services industry; 3 years with HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, AngularJS; 2 years leading or mentoring other developers; 2 years with responsive web design development and testing; 1 year with RAD 7.0; and 1 year with secure applications for account servicing and user authentication.
