As a Senior Business Systems Analyst, you’ll work hand-in-hand with our developers, business stakeholders and vendors to foster product and service concepts from concepts into sustainable solutions.  You’ll help creating solution designs and interfaces that bridge technical and business worlds.  You’ll network with a broad cross-section of our business in coordinating efforts with individuals in across Mortgage and its vendors.  You see the big picture.  You’re excited about it.  Your energy drives everyone around you to strive for it.  You’re able to execute on that vision by breaking it down into steps that drive development.  As a Senior Business Systems Analyst, you help to create the new face of Mortgage by implementing technology strategy that integrates and aligns mortgage with U.S. Bank’s Digital Banking experience to achieve U.S. Bank One Bank vision.
 
Responsibilities
Solution Design and Delivery that defines digital banking experience:
  • Leads product management and delivery of technology solutions to support large and complex Digital Banking Experience projects integrating mortgage systems with U.S. Bank Core systems
  • Captures, enhances, and ensures the timely delivery of complex project use stories, test cases, data mapping and transformation rules, business rules and configurations.
  • Oversees the data sources and research methods used by the team to collect requirements and drive acceptance.
  • Creates, evolves, and communicates specifications for feature areas that enable cohesive, compatible, scenarios that span multiple feature teams and enable Mortgage’s business objectives.
Drive customer and engineering lifecycles:
  • Ensures effective product/service messaging enabling readiness across Mortgage business lines, their partners, and customers.
  • Defines the team’s development lifecycle, identifies multi-product dependencies, scheduling priorities, and leads improvements over successive releases.
  • Participates in design, code, and test planning and reviews across the product/service, understands the root causes of issues, finds ways to resolve them, and validates the efforts and decisions of the team.

Qualifications

 

 

Basic Qualifications

-Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
-At least 6 years experience with activities, tasks, practices and deliverables for assessing and documenting business opportunities, benefits, risks, and success factors of potential applications.

 

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Product management and IT project management, system analysis, and testing
  • Agile development and familiar with Scrum
  • Business process analysis and modeling
  • Requirements analysis with knowledge of test driven requirements
  • Modeling: data, process, events, objects
  • Experience with the leading product discussion and managing product delivery timeline and activities
  • Experience with middleware services, software development, solution engineering and enterprise application integration a big plus
  • Experience with latest technology trends such as Cloud Computing, RESTful API, Web application development and Dev Ops is a big plus
  • Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with various levels of management
  • Excellent facilitation skills with business users, business leaders, technology peers and outsourced resources
  • Must be an independent, self-starting team player and have the ability to perform in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Ability to work in a matrix environment across multiple projects and technologies
